Amenities at Rancho La Quinta

Amenities Provided By Your Association
Your Associations not only maintain the common area facilities and gates within Rancho La Quinta, but have contracted for services and amenities to enrich your lifestyle and reduce your individual cost for these items. Some of these, which are paid for in your monthly HOA fees, include:

Rancho La Quinta Sports & Fitness Center
The Master Association and Casitas Association homeowners are members of the Sports & Fitness Center (a social membership in the Country Club). If you live in the Master Association or Casitas Association in Rancho La Quinta, your monthly homeowner fee includes your membership dues. As social members, you may use and enjoy the main Clubhouse and its dining and facilities; the Sports & Fitness Center, its swimming pool and jacuzzi; the tennis courts; the pickleball courts; the pro shops; the fitness center; the Cantina and the "Turn" restaurants. The Ventanas Association homeowners, for a separate fee, may join the Sports & Fitness Center.

Rancho La Quinta Golf Club
The Golf Club consists of our two private, 18-hole golf courses, the Robert Trent Jones, Jr. course and the Jerry Pate course and the various practice facilities. The Golf Club is available to all homeowners who join the Golf Club and pay a separate fee for its use.

Kennel Club
Rancho La Quinta dogs have their own special place! The Rancho La Quinta Kennel Club offers fenced small-dog and large-dog areas with grass for running and romping and shade trees for relaxing with their humans.

The Kennel Club is a great place for dog-owners to get to know one another. Open from dawn to dusk, every day, the landscaped area boasts benches and shade areas, and is ADA accessible.

Water stations serve both doggies and humans and valet stations dispense bags with disposal bins. The Kennel Club is located at the 50th Street Gate on Mission Drive West, with parking for both cars and golf carts. Access is by electronic key.

Built in 2012 with funds from T.D. Desert Development and donations from individual homeowners, our Kennel Club is maintained and supported with dues from our dog-owning members, rather than through the monthly homeowners fees.

Each membership covers up to two dogs, who must have documented rabies vaccinations. The one-time membership fee is $200, with annual dues of $112, which covers maintenance and lease fees. Temporary Guest Privileges are available. If you and your pooch would like to join the Kennel Club, complete the Application Form and return it to the onsite office along with the $200 one-time membership fee and a copy of your pet's current rabies vaccinations. Be sure to review the Kennel Club Rules and the Kennel Club Enforcement Policies.

Trash Removal & Recycling
Your Associations currently contract with Burrtec Waste for trash removal and recycling. You are allowed a maximum of three 32-gallon containers with handles and lids, but plastic sacks are recommended to eliminate redundant trips to your yard. Pick-up day for both trash and recycling is Thursday for the entire property. During holiday weeks, pick-up is delayed one day. Click on Recyclable to learn which items are permitted in recycle containers. To reach Burrtec, visit Burrtec Waste or call 760-340-2113.

Your real estate property taxes cover basic trash removal. The Master Association and The Casitas Association pay for "courtesy walk-up" whereas the Ventanas Association does not; therefore Ventanas owners must take their bins and recyclables to the street for pick-up.

Front Yard Landscape Maintenance
To maintain the aesthetic harmony and look of the community, your homeowner dues includes the cost to maintain the lawn and landscape area of your front yard. While you own your front yard, you have granted your HOA an easement to maintain the landscape, lawn and sprinkler system. See our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) and select "Questions About Our Rules & Regulations" on the navigation bar of this website to learn more about your responsibilities under this easement agreement.

For homeowners in the Master Association for Rancho La Quinta and for homeowners in the Ventanas Community Association, your Association has a nonexclusive easement for maintenance over a portion of your Lot that is your front yard. The Lot Landscape Maintenance Area extends from the street edge to the walls of the courtyard and the front exterior of your Residence, but does not include driveways, walkways or walls in or adjacent to the Maintenance Area.

For homeowners in the Casitas at Rancho La Quinta Association, the Master Association has a nonexclusive easement for maintenance over all landscape within the plotted area called the Casitas Association. The landscape area is all ground outside your interior exclusive use area.
